Carry-In Service

When you bring your computer in for repair, just bring in the computer itself. We will not need your monitor, keyboard, speakers, etc, unless your problem is related to one of your peripherals (i.e. printer won't print, monitor goes black, etc.). The technician may request that you provide various software discs that were included with your PC in order to restore the operating system and device drivers. Any other software that you provide us can be installed at your request.

On-Site

Along with our in-house repairs, 21st Century also offers professional on-site work for businesses. Our staff is highly experienced with setting up and troubleshooting office PCs and networks. Whether you have an emergency service request for your fileserver or are interested in sharing files and internet access wirelessly throughout your office, 21st Century can take your office to new levels of productivity.

Healthy Living for Your PC

Here are some tips to help you maintain your PC's health:

• Backup your important information files constantly. If you're not sure how, our staff can help you find the best method for you to use. It is especially important that you perform this task prior to having a computer serviced whenever possible.
• Disconnect your PC from outside sources during thunderstorms. This includes the telephone cord that connects to a modem, the ethernet cable connecting to your cable or dsl modem, and the power cable. Never depend fully on a surge protector - it cannot arrest a direct lightning surge.
• Install an anti-virus software package. Update it and scan with it at least twice a month.
• Avoid suspicious email attachments and be selective with the websites you choose to visit.
• Have your PC cleaned and optimized yearly.
